About Us

The Atlanta Urbanist Book Group is a group of volunteers who care about Urban Atlanta and are experienced in civic work. It was started in 2022 by Tom Weyandt, a city planner who has held city, regional and university positions, and Otis White, a facilitator and writer.

Other members of our Steering Committee include Chuck Meadows, Scotty Greene, Shannon Powell and Liza Mueller.
